Million Dollar Profit Mark Exceeded After Six Years

A profit for the year 1938 of $1,073,691.13, the first time over a period of six years that the million mark had been exceeded, was reported at the annual gentral meeting of the Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Ltd., held in the Company's Registered Br. J. Scott Harston. Offices at Exchange Building yesterday. Chairman of the Board of Directors, presided.
