A REPORT PUBLISHED IN AN EVENING PAPER YESTERDAY TO THE EFFECT THAT NAMTAU HAD BEEN RETAKEN BY JAPANESE WAS CONTRADICT- ED BY INFORMATION BEACHING HONGKONG LATE LAST NIGHT FROM RELIABLE CHINESE SOURCES.
