President Strongly Urges Membership Increase
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of Cymdeithas Dewi Sant (St. David's' Society) Hongkong, was held in the Supreme Court building yesterday evening. The President, Mr. E W. Davies, oc- cupied the Chair, and there was a large attendance of members, in- cluding Mirs, J. G. Hooper. Mrs. E. D. Edwards, Mrs. K. Cooper, Dr. Rhys C. Jones, the Rev. Vaughan Edwards, Messes. W. Aneurin Jones, D. Morran Richards, D, Davies, W. T. Lewis. E. C. Thomas, E. Lewis, Mrs. W. T. Lewis (on. Secretary and Treasurer)..
Mr. E. W. Davies was unanimously re-elected President for the ensuing year and Mr. E. Loyd Jonca was unanimously elected Vice- President
The following Committee was appointed for 1939-Mrs J. G Hooper, Mrs. K. Cooper, Messrs. W A. Jones, D.. F. Davies, D. Davies, E R. Price and E. C. Thomas.
It was decided to hold the an- nual dinner on St. David's day. March 1, at the Hongkong Hotel.
