POINTS FOR POINTED
A pointed face is offset by hair. dressed low over the cars; and re- member that a long chin looks shorter when curls begin at the temples and come well down to- wurds the jaw-bone. A high. pointed forehead, must be broken by curls. or, if ilked, the effect of a ̈ fringe.
It is unwise to break the lines of a high, square brow, for it is only a matter of arranging the hair to the correct height above it, and seeing that the pieces at the temples are treated in the right ! way, to get the effect perfect from
all angles.
GIRL IN SPECTACLES
Those who are obliged to wear glasses should dress the hair with curls on forehead and over the tops of the ears. And the same advice | applies to the woman whose nose inclines to be a prominent feature. The new bunchy curled fringes might be suitable, but it is unwise to have the hair cut for this style without first seeing the finished effect with false curis pinned in place. Also it is essential to find
out if you can wear the type of
hat that leaves the fringe unflat- tened
