The death occurred at the St. Francis Hospital, Wanchal, yester- day of the Rev. Father, Paul Lu, Parish Priest of the Holy Cross Church, Shaukiwan, at the age of

Father Lu came to Hongkong when a boy, from the Sun Tak District, Canton. He completed
his studies in the local Seminary, annexed to the Catholic Cathedral, Glenealy, where he distinguished himself.
He accompanied the late Bishop Raimondi la travels to South America and Australia, when rais Ing funds for the building of the présent Cathedral, inaugurated in December, 1858.
