After a ten-day meeting, the second plenary session of the Peo- ple's Political Council was formally adjourned yesterday afternoon. A spirit of harmony and co-operation permeated throughout the session. at which a large number of "resolutions of great import were discuss- ed.

As Mr. Wang Ching-wei, Chairman of the Council, wound up the session with an eloquent address pledging unwavering determination to fight on for "China's independence and world peace and justice, he was vociferously cheered.
