"A WEALTH

of HEALTH"

*

"I mean to press with all my heart that your Kalzana has given wonderful results in my little girl, who was ailing for some time,"

writes a grateful mother.

If your Child is ailing then

give it Kalzana

If any of your children are delicate and irrit able, suffer from delayed teething and weak bones, it is more than probable that a lack of minerals is the cause of the trouble..

Give your children Kalzina tablets or powder for a few weeks and you will soon see the. difference in their health. It strengthens the cells of blood, body and nerves, increases the power of resistance and makes bones strong, and teeth white and healthy.

·

Give Kalzana to the grown-up members of your family, and they, too, will enjoy continual good health.

FATAL MISHAP NEAR QUARRY

Girl Killed By

Rock

An inquiry was started at the Kowloon Court yesterday into the death of a four-year-old girl. Kwok Fong. who it is believed, was struck by a piece of rock hurtled through the air as a result of blasting at a stone quarry in the vicinity of the scene of the acei- dent, Fuk Tsur. Heung Street," Tal Kok Tsui

Mr. Q. A. A. Macfadyen sat as Coroner, and the jury comprised Messrs. John Russell (foreman), RH Schwob, and Leung Shiu-po. Both Kwok Ming-yuen and Tam Sing, parents of the girl. testified that at 430 p.m. on September 23 they heard the not unusual sound of the warning gong. As they had never experienced stones being hurtled through the att from blasting work at the quarry, they did not pay much heed.

Dr. Luk, ot, the Kowloon Public Mortuary, testified that the wound on the back of the girl's head could be caused only by a violent blow with a force heavier than the weight of her body.

Further hearing was adjourned to next Thursday afternoon.

Inspector F. T. J. Portailion is the In charge of the case for Police.

BOATMAN'S JUMP FROM BUS

"I think you have taught your- self a fairly good lesson," Mr. KMA. Barnett, the Magistrate, told a 52-year-old boatman, So Lol-kt, when the latter appeared at the Kowloon Court yesterday with his face swathed in bandages to answer a charge of alighting from a bus at Talpo Road on Oc. tober 10 whilst the vehicle was yet in motion.

So, who had spent three days at the Kowloon Hospital, told the Court that he had previous to the incident, never before travelled in a bus.

·

He was fined one dollar."
