Berlin, Sept. 26. Sir Horace Wison, Director of the Central European De- partment of the Foreign Offee whom Mr. Chamberlain cls- patched with a message to Herz Hitler, left the Chancellery a 5.40 p.m. to-day, having con (erred with the Fuehrer for 55 minutes.

It is understood that General Goering visited Herr Hitler just before Sir Nevile Henderson, the British Ambassador.

Japanese Bomb Waterworks

FEAR CITY MAY BE WITHOUT SUPPLIES

Canton, Sept. 27.. Japanese planes this morning raided Saichuen and scored nine direct hits on the old. waterworks. As the new water- works in Saichuen are already out of action as the result of bombing. It is now feared that Canton will be without wafer supplies for the next three months.

Shameen will not be affected, however. since the Municipal Council has its own waterworks Reuter.

FARMERS KILLED

Canton, Sept. 77. Several bombs landed this morn- ing in the vicinity of the Kwang Ya Middle School, and killed and- wounded 10 fanners and destroyed many' houses.
