The tenth annual general meet- ing of St. Andrew's Club was held at St. Andrew's Church Hall yes- terday.

The following report was read: The number of the membership roll at the beginning of the year under review was 111: 33 new members were elected, 15 resigned and 10 were struck off for other reasons. The present membership is 119.

Your Committee record with deep regret the death of Mr. W. F Fincher, who had been a Vice- President for the past three years During the year, a special resolu- tion was passed, admitting persons' still at school, but over the age of 14, to privileges of membership under certain conditions.

Japan And Shanghai.. Badminton has been one of the Japan Club's most popular activities, as Baixon.. evidenced by the large attendances jou badminton nights throughout the whole of last season. We en- tered a team in each of the three Java divisions of the league, viz, Men's Straits .... A" and. "B" and Mixed Doubles. Shanghai but did not fare too well. both the Japan men's teams finishing near the lapan and Shanghai.. bottom of the table. The Mixed Straits Doubles team did much better how Japan and Shanghai... ever by finishing third.

The year's working, after making donations to Charity, etc.. shows a profit of $478,13, the increase being largely due to profits on Dances and Amateur Dramaties and mem- bers's subscriptions.
