(Continued from Pagi 2) WHAT-CIRCUMSTANCES?
I am asking you what circızın- stances. Do you mean to say in all circumstances it is a binding or- der? No, because I have seen Mc- Leod make out an order and then change his mind and ask me to go to another district. When you are dealing with McLeod you are not dealing with a man who sticks to his decision and makes up his mind at once. His mind is as change- able as the weather.
OPENING SHOOT OF
RIFLE ASSOCIATION
Lieut. A. O. Pullman Wins
Net Spoon
The Hong Kong Rifle Association held its first meeting of the season yesterday on the Kowloon City Hanges. This Opening Shoot was marked by a good attendance and good shooting in spite of ad- verse weather conditions.
The Royal Scots and The Middlesex Regiment sending between them about seventy members, and amongst whom were many new members.
The weather conditions yesterday were, on the whole, bad. At times there were showers, and during the whole afternoon the wind was exceedingly tricky,
So you are protecting McLeod, Having heard your superior pmcers say that by going to Yaumati in- stead of Kowloon City was inex- cusable you still persist in saying

CUTTING OWN THROAT Therefore by going there you Own were really cutting your throat? How could that be, be-
members but who is also keen on the actual shooting itself.
During the period when the Association closed down as regards the actual shooting, he has been renewing, handicaps and arranging programmes in order to give yet more enjoyment and interest to every member.
It is hoped, and not vainly, that this season will witness, yet more cause then McLeod would alter his broken records than in past sea- sons. Judging by yesterday's shoot, morning report if I made an ar-the Association is assured of yet a greater membership than last year and higher honours gained.

Do you mean to say that there is really of no importance in what McLeod told you to co?-Tes
You are inviting the Jury to say that McLeod is a liar?-Yes.
GIFT OF CLOCK
We cannot close without mentioning the great debt of" gratitude we owe to past and Prent members of the Dock.
Rifle Club for their gift of a Clock for the outside of the Clubhouse. This clock can be seen from all Ranges and is in- valuable to all members using the ranges.
Can you tell me of any incident before this that would entitle everyone to say that he is not a perfectly honest person?-Up to then we got on very well together. but I would have thought that he would at least have that common decency of every human being--
The season having Just' com- that little principle expected of menced, the Association is looking every person--when he sees the out for likely members, who will, position I am in today by admittins in December, represent the Colony his own blunder.
