Club Do Well Against The Royal Scots; South China
Find New Forward
In intensive heat, but with no lack of enthusiasm, the local foot- ball season began on Saturday with two matches in the first division and two in the second, all being "friendly" encounters.
The best game was that between the Hong Kong Football Club and the Royal Scots, when the latter were given a bad fright. Field- ing a team which, considering the earliness of the season. was re- markable for its good combination, the Club ran away with a swift lead of two goals, both from the feet of Ernie Strange, and, before. the interval. Kirwan made it three.
Tang Lai Shiu-wing and Kwong-sum scored the other goals.
