The market opened with prices unchanged for all deliveries as compared with Monday's closing rates.
The market ruled quiet and dull throughout the day. Demand for "spot" Rubber was only moderate whilst dealers and speculators maintained side-line positions preferring to await further develop- ments before entering into larger engagements. In view of this fact only a moderate volume of business was transacted on the basis of quoted rates.
Late in the afternoon session prices declined by 1/8 cent for all deliveries, the market closing with a quiet, undertone.
In some Rubber circles the opinion prevails that the market is likely to fluctuate only within narrow limits until after the next meet- ing of the International Rubber Regulation Committee on the 12th.
