SPLENDID VARIETY

PROGRAMME Eighteen representatives of Hong Kong talent went on to the stage

at St. Andrew's Church Hall yesterday and presented

"Variety Pro- gramme " well worthy of sponsor, organizer. and artist.

Some 250 people applauded. and a good number of dollars were callevied to swell the fund in aid of the war re- fugees in Hong Kong.

The nit of the evening? You would not tell from the applause. You could tell from the laughter!

Undoubtedly: Master of Cere monies, Mr. David Kossik. If his "cracks" were just a little stale. only Mr. Kossik could put them cver in that inimitable way.
