Child Identified After Post-Mortem Examination

“UNNECESSARY CRUELTY FOR PARENTS," COMMENTS CORONER

"It must be a 'painful ordeal to the parents of the child to have to identify its body after the post-mortem examination. I think thai's un unnecessary cruelty," commented Mr. Barnett (Coroner) at the Kowloon Court yesterday at an inquiry into the death of Chat Chi- keung, four-year-old male child who, on June 2, was admitted to the Kwong Wah Hospital suffering from scalds and who died on June 4. The jury comprised Messrs. Feedor Scriebner (foreman), H. F. Rosario and Cheng "Chi-nan. Six witnesses were heard.
