Athlete's Foot

According to the Govern went Health Bulletin No. E-26, at least 50% of the

adult population of the United States are being, attacked by the disease known as Athlete's Foo

Csually the disease starts between the toes. Little watery blisters form, and the sin cracks and peels. After a while, the itching becomes intense, and you feel as though you would like to seritel off all the skin."

BEWARE OF IT SPREADING

Often the disease travels ail over the button of the feet. The soles of your feet become red and swollen. The skin also cracks and peels, and the itching becomes worse and worse.

Get rid of this disease as quickly as possible, because it is very contagious and it may go to your hands or even to the under arm or crotch of the legs.

Most people who have Athlete's Foot have tried all kinds of remedies to cure it without success. Ordinary germicides, anti- septics, salve or ointments seldom do any good.

HERE'S HOW TO TREAT IT

The genu that causes the disease is known as Tine Trichophy ton. It bories itself deep in the tissues of the skin and is very hard to kill. A test male shows it takes 16 minutes of boiling to kill the germ; so you can see why ordinary remedies are unsuccessful. H. F. was developed solely for the purpose of treating Athlete's Foot it is a liquid that penetrates and dries quickly. You just paint the affected parts. It peels off the tissue of the skin where the germ breeds.

ITCHING STOPS IMMEDIATELY

As soon as you apply H. F. you will find that the itching immediately relieved. You should paint the infected parts with B. F. night and morning tutil your feet are well. Usually this takes from three to ten day, although in severe cases it may take longer or in mild cases less time.

H.

You will marvel at the quick way it brings you relief, especially if you are one of those who have tried for years to get rid of Athlete's Foot without

NAMOA READY FOR ATTACK

Chinese Garrison Prepared

(From Our Own Correspondent)

Canton. July 18, Lieut.-General La Chih-lu, ́an expert in querilla warfare and commandant of mobile units in Swatow district, was mainly re- sponsible for the recovery. Namoa Island, which is now com- pletely in Chinese hands.

All the puppet politicians who served in the Peace Preservation Committee and several Formosans were executed or killed during the Chinese counter-attack.

It transpires that the Japanese naval forces looted Namoa' after which they withdrew to the war- ships, leaving a handful of ronins and Formosans to guard the Is- land. The Japanese fleet operating in South China is aware of the. Chinese recapture, hènée the island was shelled and bombea during the week-end.

While the garrison and, militia at Namoa are ready for another Japaner attack, it is believed that no Japanese ratings are available to form a garrison or a landing party in view of the push by Ja- panese warships on the Yangtse River towards Kluklang.

Two of the 157th Kwangtung
