BRADMAN DECLARED WITHOUT NOTICE
London, June 16.
It is now revealed that in the First
Test at Nottingham Don Bradman, the Australian captain, declared Aus- tralia's second innings though no official instructions were given to the scorers.
When the players retumed to the pavilion at 6.15 p.m. it was generally opposed that the game had been abandoned early to enable the Aus- tralians to catch the train for Londen. According to the rules, unpires must allow 10 minutes between innings. Thus, England should have batted for five minutes.--(Router),
