Test at Nottingham Don Bradman, the Australian captain, declared Aus- tralia's second innings though no official instructions were given to the scorers.
When the players retumed to the pavilion at 6.15 p.m. it was generally opposed that the game had been abandoned early to enable the Aus- tralians to catch the train for Londen.
