Ten Deaths From Smallpox
According La returns issued. yesterday, twenty-nine deaths from Infectious and notifiable dis- eases
were registered with the Health Authorities during the week ending May 28.
Of these ten were from small- Dox, and they constituted the total number of notifications of this disease for the week.
There were six deaths out of 12 cases of meningitis, four deaths from 19. caese of measles, three from 23 cases of dysentery, two from 16 cases of enteric fever, and of the two cholera victims, one died.
