Soldier's Appeal Dismissed At Supreme Court

An appeal brought by Private David Fleming, 2nd. Battalion, Royal' Scots Regiment, against sentence of two months' hard labour passed on him by Mr. Butters at Central Court on May 10 on his plending guilty to receiving a bottle of whisky, stolen from the Neptune Bar, Wanchai, was dismissed by the Acting Chief Justice, Mr. Justice R. E. Lindsell, at the Supreme Court yesterday.
Fleming was not legally represented, but an officer of the bat- tallon, Lt. `F. H. W. Glossop, was present in court.
