NEW MASS EXECUTIONS OF SOVIET OFFICIALS
Moscow, May 30.
New mass executions are reported from the Ukrainian, capital of Kiev. According to reliable information, as many as 217 death- sentences on Soviet officials have been carried out during the last few days.
Some details of the backgrounds of these new condemnations were revealed by the Secretary of the Communist Party organisation of Klev. M. Krjukov at a party conference.
He indicated that the executions were connected with the dis- covery of three allegedly counter-revolutionary organisations in which Sevlet offcials at Kiev were involved.-(Transocean).
