Police Score Surprise Win
Over Kowloon C.C.
The heavy rain on Friday was responsible for the curtailment of the larger part of Saturday's bowls league programme and the only thing of interest was the somewhat unexpected defeat of Kowloon Cricket Club by the Police in the first division,
The leading teams, Craigengower Cricket Club and the Indian Recreation Club, which were to have clashed at Scokanpoo, were forced to postpone their meeting as the Indians" green was found to 'be too sodden for play.
In the second division, Club de Recreio managed to beat the Bow- ling Green despite the fact that they were down on two rinks, this being tac to the floe win of F.X. Soares' rink, over J.S. Logan's.
