Lini. April 18. More than 10,000 Japanese reinforcements were rushed from Shansi to Tsinan for the south Shantung front during the three days of April 10-12, according to an estimate.
Three thousand fresh Japanese troops, with large supplies of military equipments, are now pitched against the Chinese forces on the Lini frontal line. A new assault on the Chinese defence is expected momentarily.
To cope with the situation, Chinese reinforcements have been pouring in from the rear to stem the Japanese threat. (Central News).
