Munich, March 16. Chancellor Adolf Hitler returned to Munich yesterday evening from his trip to Austria. He arrived by air from Vienna and landed at the Munich airport at Oberwiesenthal. where he was welcomed by party and state dignitaries.

The Chancellor has promoted General Von Rundstaedt to the command of the army group at Berlin and General Von Boeck, commander of the 8th Army Corps, to the rank of Colonel Gen- eral.—(Transocean),

Vienna, Mar. 15.

Before the military parade took place this afternoon Herr Adolf Hitler, German Chancellor. laid a laurel wreath at the Vienna War Memorial, and as he emerged from
