The well-known local singers. Mr. Albert A. Barton and Mr. Gas- ton D'Aquino, contributed songs which were well-received by the distinguished and appreciative au- dlence which filled the lounge to capacity.

Mr. Barten (baritone) rendered

"Because" and "My Old Shatte and was vociferously encored, but time did not permit him to sing

an encore.

Mr. D'Aquino (tenor) sang "The English Rose" from "Merry Eng- land," and "Will You Remember?" from "Maytime," both of which were well received.

Messrs.

Barton and D'Aquino sang with clear diction and were in splendid form.,

The xylophone solo did not take place as the Royal Scots xylo- phonist had an injury to his arm.
