Marriage allowances in the Ser- vices have formed the subject of several questions recently, in the House of Commons, states the | Parliamentary correspondent of the United Services Review in the current issue of that publication.

Lieut.-Com, R. Fletcher (Nunea- ton) suggested the First Lord of the Admiralty should consult the Secretaries of State for War and Air with a view to reducing the age at which men qualided for mar- rlage allowance.

The existing rate due to change, in the cost of living figure came to operation on April 1, 1931.
