not comply with the standard prescribed in the regulations, was dismissed.

Mr. E. 6. C. Brooks, who ap peared for the defence. pleaded not guilty to the charge saying that his client had not been allowed the time-fourteen days- which was privileged by the law, to be called or to attend Court to answer the summons.

A further point was that defen- dant had not been forwarded the analysis of the milk which he Į should have received.

Australian passenger killed in SANTHIA the Imperial Airway flying-boat | TALMA tragedy at Brindisi early today, SIRI BANA

OHIRALA was Captain MacDonald Falconer,

TILAWA and not Captain MacDonald, as originally reported.

To-night it was revealed that Air Marshal Sir John Balmond, who was a passenger in the plane, and who was at first stated to be suffering from a' cut shoulder, sustained a broken right collar bane, but his condition is not serious.

The plane, Cygnus, was carrying Australian and Hong Kong mall, and crashed at the take-off, sink- ing rapidly.

According to an eye-witness of Arm: Perseus, Olympus, the disaster there was a wind of Regent, Regale velocity when the Cygnus left Its moorings. After an unusually long run the Cygnus just managed to leave the water when a sudden gust of wind apparently upset the balance of the machine which crashed in a gigantic cloud of spray. The nose of the hull ap- peared to crumple up like card- board.
