JUDGMENT

RESERVED

The Eagle Brand Razor Blade Trade Mark Cile came up again for hearing at the Central Magis- tracy yesterday when, following submissions by solicitors for both parties, judgment was reserved by Mr. R. A. D. Forrest

The case, it will be recalled, is une in which the Hong Kong Im- port and Export Company sum- moned Messrs. Petersen and Com- party, and two Chinese concerns. for selling razor blades bearing the Eagle brand trade mark, such blades, they alleged, not having been obtained through them, the sole agents.

Mr. M. A. da Silva is prosecut- ing and Mr. B. D. Evans, of John- sun, Stokes and Master, is repre- senting all 'three defendants..

Judgment will be delivered on December 4

SUMMARY COURT CLAIM

Before the Puisne Judge Mr. Justice Lindsell. In the Summary Court yesterday, the Hong Kong Well Boring Company, Limited, claimed $1.589.30 which was re- duced to $1,000 to bring the case within suminary jurisdiction, from Mr. W. B. V. Curtis.

Mr. F. H. Loseby appeared for the plaintiffs, whilst the defendant who entered a counter-claim for $806.50 was not legally represent- ed,

It was alleged that the defen- dant while Managing Director of the plaintif company, overdrew a sum of $1,589.30.

This was the second hearing and after further evidence was given. the hearing was adjourned til De- cember 7,

Batty- Smith, AD.C., Mr. Garrod Trever- ton, Private Secretary, and the Mace-bearer, Mr. H. J. Millington. The following Honorary AD.Cs. to His Excellency were also pre- sent Lieut.-Comdr. R. G. Heibert, R.N., Mr. A. R. 8. Major (Police). Second Lieut. J. M. B. Poyntz (Seaforths). Subadar Major Mo- hamed Shah (HKSRA), Riial- dar and Hon. Lieut..
