It is very good to see the Recreio Ladies once more having a hand in competitive hockey. This year they have entered team in the Brawn Cup and on Saturday won their first match against the C.B.S. by two goals to one.
Playing at inside-left was Miss A. Alves who used to be one of the stalwart forwards in the Recreio Ladies Caer Clark Cup team. Miss N. Gonsalves, the Recreio pivot, showed splendid ball distribution on Saturday. The Schoolgirls have got together a useful team and are deserving of every encouragement.
