Dramatic Z.BW- Message
The revelation of the story of the rescue of the four men, victims of a typhoon junk disaster, by the J.CJL. liner. Tjisopdari, was the remarkable result of a message broadcast from. ZBW. on Tuesday night, asking all ships in the vicinity of Chilang Point, famous for piracy, to be on the look-out for possible survivors of the Junk which was battered to pieces in the typhoon on Sunday.
For quite a while, the survivors were in such a state of exhaustion that they could not relate the cir- cumstances of the disaster, but Jater, one recovered sufficiently to tell the officers of the ship that they were survivors of a large junk, with a crew of twenty, which had been wrecked during the recent typhoon.
They had been in the water für almost two days before they were rescued by the Tilsondari. One of them, it is learned, died on the ship which was bound for Amoy
