Other notable passengers were Mr. Lam Wal"Sing who is the new Managing Director of CNA.G., and Mr. H. M. Bixby the Vice-President of Pan-American Airways.

This comment was made by Ge- neral Sir Ian Hamilton, G:CB, when he was addressing the de- legates, attending the annual con- ference of the British Legion (Scotland) at St. Andrews.
"As old soldiers," Str Ian said. 'you can help our serving Scottish regiments very much by expressing in your own areas our grievances on the dress question. Whatekc King goes to the Palace of Holy- roodhouse the Greys will turu õht a Bovereign's escort in full dress
provided at their wa expense. The Scots Guards, who are coming up, will also be in full dress-pro- vided by Government.
