Banners of the Empire.--The first performance of the Aldershot Tation, this year nown as the Coronation Tattoo, took place on the Rushmoor Arens. As this year's title denotes, the theme of the Tattoo featured the lordity of the Empire to the Throne. This is apparent in the opening episode, the subject of this picture, which was taken at a rehearsal. It was described as “a pageant of the banners of the British Commonwealth of Nations."
