At the request of the Hong Kong authorities the police to-day arrested a British member of the crew of the Furness (Far-East) Limited liner Javanese Prince.
The man is Charles Evans and he is accused of smuggling opium. Evans is being taken to Hong Kong and left to-day aboard the Siamese Prince, which is due arrive on Friday,
