KING'S STATUE BLOWN UP
Another Incident In Dublin
Dublin, May 13. The equestrian statue of King George II at St. Stephen's Green was blown up by a land mine this morning. This is the second out- rage on the statue which "was damaged by a bomb in 1928.
The explosion shattered win- dows of surrounding buildings, The police after a search discover- ed a dump of guns and munitions nearby.
The explosion was so big that it separated the king from the horse and both were smashed to bits.-
