The ferry service continues to run smoothly, and except to add my annual reminder to share- holders that our pler leases expire in 1949, there does not appear to be anything further that calls for comment. I therefore, propose that the report and accounts 8.3 presented be adopted and passed.

Two Before The Court

Two extradition cases came be fore Mr. W. Schofield yesterday when Tsui Chu Kong, and Tsui Cho, alias Tan Yau, allas Tout You, alias Tsui Sing-sing appeared at the Central Magistracy.

The former is wanted by the Dutch East Indian authorities for embezzlement. He was represent- ed by Mr. F. G. Nigel, of Messrs Johnson, Stokes and Masters, and Chief Detective Inspector J. Murphy prosecuted.

A week's formal remand was granted in. this case, and Mr. Nigel's request to see the warrants and extradition papers was also granted.
