During the week under review the market was on the quite side but prices generally were fairly- well maintained. A fair volume of business was put through for both cash and forward deliveries and at the close the undertone showed signs of steadiness.

Silver advices reported India and China as hay! ing sold. Buyers corred to a certain extent. The market closed steady. After the oficial ́úúng there were buyers at the fixed rate but sellers were rather reserved American Silver was lower at 44 3/4 for Spot.
