Sir Elly Kadoorie distributed the prizes at the Ellis Kadoorie School yesterday morning. Among those with Sir Elly Kadooric on the platform were:-)
Mr. L. Kadoorle, son of Sir Elly Kadoorie, Mr. G. R. Sayer, Director of Education; Mr. J. L. MacPherson, and Mr. G. W. Reeve, Headmaster.
After Mr. Reeve had read the annual report, Mr. Kadoorie made a short speech. “First of all give of your best in your studies and you will succeed. It may prove as dificult as'cHmb- ing a rock. Secondly, learn to love your school, for in it, true and useful work is learnt of which you will never forget. I thank you all for my father and I feel happy to be here," he remarked. The Headmaster welcomed the Director of Education and also thanked Mr. F. J. de Boma for his presence.
