Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns

(BY LONGSHOREMAN). During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 a.m. yesterday, the reight returns, received from the Har- bour Office, showed a moderately high tonnage movement, a large proportion of which being contri- buted by Norwegian and Japanesc ships,

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 13.460 tons. with British steamers carrying 4.307

tons.

Through cargo for ports be- gond the Colony amounted to 29.402 tops, of which 2.787 tons were carried by British steamers.

Aslatle deck passengers entering Into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9:00 am. yesterday were 2,018 of which 703 were from British steamers.
