The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 7,127 tons, with British steamers carrying 4.540 tons.

Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 16.238 tons, of which 7,118 tons were carried by British steamers, Aslate deck passengers entering Into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday were 1,033, of which 846 were from British steamers,
