S.S. "RANCHI"
The P. and O. mer "Ranch!" arrives this morning, and will berth ut the Kowloon, Godown Wharf.
She comes from Europe via Suez, and will leave for Shanghai and Europe via Siberia to-morrow. She also brings to Hong Kong letters and papers of September 17, and parcels of September 10 from Europe and London.
Letters of destination will be received at the General Post Office up to 10.30 am. to-morrow.
S.S. TOTTORI MARU” The S.S. "Tottori Maru" of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line is due at the to-day, and will berth Kowloon Wharf.
She is from Japan. and will leave for Calcutta via Singapore, Penang and Rangdon to-morrow,
R.M.S. "EMPRESS OF ASIA” The RM.S. "Empress of Asia" (voyage 128) arrived at Yokohama on the 14th October Wednesday) at 10 am and leaves Yokohama on the 15th October (oday), a 10 am. She is due at Hong Kong on the 22nd (Thursday) at 7.00 a.m., and leaves on the same day at 6.00 p.m. for Manila.
5.S. "RAWALPINDI" The P. and D. Line's steam ship "Rawalpindi" left Shanghai for this Port on the 13th instant at 3. p.m., and is due here on the 16th instant (to-morrow) at about
6:00 am.

Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns
(BY LONGSHOREMAN), The freight returns, received from the Harbour Office during the 24 hours ended, at 9.00 am yesterday showed a fairly high tonnage movement a large pro- portion of which being made up by British ships.
The total tonnage of general to the cargo carried by vessels Colony was 8,977 tons, with British steamers carrying 3,181 tons
