The freight returns. received from the Harbour Office during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 a.m. yesterday, showed

tonnage movement.

The total tonnage of general | cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 6.894 tons, with British steamers carrying 1,162 tons.

Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colany amounted to 19.600 tons of which 4,937 tons were carried by British steamers.

Astat'e deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 a.m. yesterday were 1.076., of which 607 were from British steamers.

There were altogether eleven arrivals, of which four were of British registry, the remainder being of other nationalities, while of the twelve departures, five were British ships, the rest being of other different" countries. culars as follows:- Nationality British
