Hearing Before Full Court
Yesterday morning is a Full Court, before the Chief Justice,
Sir Atholl MacGregor, and the Acting-Pulane Judge, Mr. Justice J. J. Hayden, an order for writ of habeas corpus was discharged on three fugitives from the justice of the courts at Nanking, and an order was made absolute for the fourth.
On June 30, 1935, the four men, Police Magistrate, Mr. W. Schofield, Yu Lap Fui, allas Li Chi On, alias considered Wang as an accomplice. Li Shek Yu. On July 14, Mr. H. Q. Sheldon, K.C, made a formal application in an order nist for a writ of habeas corpus and to show cause why is should not be made absciute.
The bearing yesterday morning was in the nature of an objection by the Crown, for whom appear- ed Mr. Leo D'Almadà e Castri, Jr. instructed by Mr. D. L. Strellett, of Messrs. G. K. Hall Brutton Co.

It was Mr. D'Almada's contention that the discrepancy of "dates in Wang's evidence was not serious.
Upon cross-examination. Wang's father said that his son did Kve on the premises. Being a secret meeting, the members would have kept their presence a secret.
Chung, the fourth fugitive, was found on the premises of 1, Kwong Ming Terrace, to which the police were directed to arrest the fugi tives. That the address came from Nanking could only be true, as they were not given by the fugitives.
