"THE 39 STEPS"

"The 39 Stpes" now showing at the King's Theatre, is one British made picture which can hold up its head with the finest thing in tim entertainment that ever came out of Hollywood.

The story, written by the Gov- ernor-General of Canada, John Buchan. is entirely new and dif- ferent from the stereotyped plots with which Hollywood has beer plastering the film market in the last few years. It deals with the adventures of Robert Donat, who as a suspected murderer, can get away from police officers easier than a tarpon from the end of a herring fish-line.
