Freight and Asiatic Passengers Returns
(BY LONGSHOREMAN). The freight returna received from the Harbour Office during, the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday, showed a moderate ton- nage movement
The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 4,368 tons, with British steamers carrying 2,885 tons.
Through cargo for ports be- ta
vond, the Colony amounted 9 591 tons, of which 5,284" tons were carried by British steamers.
Asiatic deck passengers entering Inte the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday
were 1.200, of which 747 were
trom British steamers.
