The celebration," he said, "will be in two parts; one in Birming hat, so long associated with the Chamberlain family, and the other in London.
ALBERT HALL MEETING Birmingham will expect its ex- Mayor the Chancellor of the Ex- chequer, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, to address the centenary meeting. London, at the Albert Hall meet- ing, will have Sir Austen Cham- herlain, who was more connected in actual polities with his father's political and fiscal ideas."
At the Albert Hall meeting Mr. Amery will
preside. Sir Henry Page Croft and Lord Lloyd will als speak. It is hoped that Sir Austen Chamberlain's speech may be broadcast.
The Dominions will also share in the centenary. Sir Thomas Wil- ford has undertaken to raise funds
in New Zealand, and other Do- minion statesmen are being asked to do their part in Canada, Aus- tralia, and the Colonies.
"No man would be more glad than Lord Riddell to see Major As- tor sitting in his place to-night. No man is better qualified than Majör Astor, by war service and by what he has since done in Fleet-street, to occupy the position.
During the evening the gather- ing rose and drank in allence the toast of "Fallen Comrades.”
