A letter has been received from the Shanghai Bowing Club relating to the coming interport Bowling Match, which letter was discussed at the Meeting of the Committee of the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Asso- ciation when they met yesterday.
Mr. C. J. Tacchi was in the Chair supported by the following:-Messrs C C. Hosking (Hon. Secretary), F. Jones, E. el Arculll, J. V. Ramsay and F. X. M. da Silva.
The letter from Shanghai was an invitation suggesting that the Hong Kong team should go to Shanghal at the beginning of September. It was discussed and decided that a letter be sent to Shanghal intima- ting that the end of September would be more convenient. In the Hong Kong will be asked for the meantime the various Clubs in
names of players who will be able to make the trip.

His evidence therefore was that of an accomplice and should be re- garded with the greatest of caution. Mr. Mash submitted that the real enlprit was one of the loading party who had noticed the remain- ing fifty bags and bad immediately arranged with Lee Hau for their
