Silver prices dropped 1/16 yes- terday for both deliveries, the quctations being 20 5/16 for Ready- and Forward, Sliver advices re- ported India and China as having operated both ways. Buyers were satisfied. After the oficial fixing sellers were reported at the fixed rate and buyers at 1/18 under the quoted rate. In America "the rate was unchanged at 44 for Spot.

The London New York cross- rate was higher at 4.DS] New York/London was quoted at 4.96 3/15.
