(BY LONGSHOREMAN} During the 24 hours ended at 9 am. yesterday, the freight re turns, received from the Harbour Office showed a moderate tonnage

movement.

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 8,935 tons, with British steamers "carrying 8.162 tons.

Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 17.939 tons, of which 6,177 tons were carried by British steamers.

Asiatic deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9:00 am: yesterday were 1.022. of which 914 were from British steamers.
