a much heal- Lhler market during the period under review and although the volume of business was not very large, priceS in many instances ruled firmer. The most notable Leature was the smart rise in Cements which were taken up to 69.50 with the demand only Blackening towards the close. Manile shares attracted amount of attention throughout the week and rates in some cases stowed substantial advances. More interest was taken in Investment counters, Hongkong Trams were ... shaar better with unsatisfied On LONDON – buyers at $10.60
