NEW LINER'S SPEED

Southampton, Mar. 30. It is officially revealed that the. new Cunard-White Star Liner. Queen Mary, or, her voyage from the Clyde to Southampton, attain- ed a speed of 29 knots.

This speed was only maintained for a short time, owing to the new condition of the engines, but the liner had plenty of power in reserve, and it is expected that she will attain a much greater speed when fully extended.----* Reuter's Bulletin Service.
