THE SOLUTION OF THE SYNTHETIC RUBBER PROBLEM.
German scientists succeeded in manufacturing synthetlo rubber in factories. The trials made with this synthetic rubber, called. Buns, have highly fulfilled the supposed expectations. The synthetle, rubber resulted much better than the natural product. It has a very Inferior wear, a considerable firmness against oll and is less sensitive against heat than natural rab- ber. The international motor-show demonstrated for the first time the results made in präc tice with the synthetic robber. Our photos show (on the left) the manufacturing; Giachinery of synthetic rubber and (on the right) testing machine for the finished Bana-Rubber. Sam- ples of rubber are pressed from revolving plates against rolls and have herewith undergone rubber-technical test.
